We run private group Pilates and Yoga classes at various venues most days of the week, daytime and evenings and have a fully equipped pilates studio in St Albans and Bushey/Watford. We also run weekly Pilates Yoga fusion classes for St Albans District Council and Bedfordshire Health Authority.
We offer one to one and small group sessions in our studio or at our client's homes or place of work. In addition, we organise pilates, yoga and personal development workshops and weekend retreats in the UK and abroad..
We also run a teacher trainer module for bodyworkers and fitness instructors - How to teach a 10 week Beginner Pilates class, which has successfully trained teachers from around the world - with very positive feedback.
Pilates studio equipment include the Cadillac, Reformer, Ladder Barrel, Split-pedal Stability Chair, Spine Supporter, Spine Corrector, Arc Barrels, Stability Balls, Bosu Ball, Rotation Discs, Fitness Circle & Band, etc which are excellent for rehab and personal training to meet client's specific needs.
Liz Kaloczi has been teaching in the fitness industry for 18 years. Her passion for mind/body exercise led her to Pilates and Yoga and she trained with the Pilates Institute and Stott Pilates. She was the first Pilates teacher in St. Albans to teach the technique at Cannons health club, Holmes Place and for St. Albans Leisure.
Liz has recently completed her training in Classical Pilates having studied with Karin Locker and Johnathan Lee in Westminster, London. As well as running 2 pilates studios in Herts, Liz teaches on retreats all over Uk, Europe and Asia. Her passion for pilates and Yoga keeps her classes exciting, informnative and ever evolving to bring the very best to her clients.
Her passion for Yoga inspired Liz to bring a Yogic philosophy into her life. Liz trained for 3 years with Ruth White, one of the UK's most established Yoga teachers. Liz has taught thousands her Introduction to Pilates workshop, which has inspired all those who have joined her classes. Liz works intuitively with a 'hands on approach', allowing the individual to reach their full potential.
She teaches a unique blend of Yoga and Pilates, drawing upon many years of experience in bodywork as a group teacher and personal trainer. She is currently studying thai Yoga massage and practicing Kundilini Yoga. Liz has been invited to teach for ZEN HOLIDAYS - who promote some of the ' UK's most pioneering teachers'. This year she has taught pilates in Egypt & Italy and is off to the paradise Island of 'La Gomere' in the Canaries in July and Spain in September. Liz also offers Reiki healing. In one to one sessions she may apply a blend of disciplines to reach the desired result. Liz was a rep for the Exercise Association of England and has worked with many groups including autistic adults, children and Cardiac-Rehab patients.
Teejay Sogunro played sports at national level and has been involved the fitness industry for 20 years. He got involved in Pilates after suffering from chronic lower back problems, as a result of playing competitive semi-professional squash racquet for many years. Teejay's experiences during his quest for recovery from his debilitating back problem for many years, seeking of advise and treatments which resulted in temporary pain relief and then he came across Pilates which resulted in the final key to his recovery. This lead him into his passion of learning the knowledge and skills to help clients/patients get results as quickly as possible. Life's too short to waste time having to go through years of pain and lack of quality of life.
He is a qualifed YMCA professional fitness instructor and trained with STOTT Pilates in the U.K and Toronto, Canada on matwork, reformer, Intensive Cadillac, Chair & Barrel and Injury & Special Populations (ISP). He is also trained as a NLP practitioner, Life Coach and was a student at Middlesex University on a BSc (Hons) Osteopathy degree course for 2 years, then decided to specialise on injuries (sports or non sports related) and exercise rehabilitaion. He is a qualified injuries and massage therapist with the Association of Physical and Natural Therapist. His clients/patients include: Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Pilates Instructors, Saracens RC, ex Arsenal defender, ex Celtic chairman, company directors, pre and post surgery clients from hip replacements, shoulder/knee/ankle surgery and numerous clients that have injuried themselves from physical activities i.e bad postural habits, gardening, whiplash, RSI, playing sports. He was invited by Ruth White (one of the most renowed and respected Yoga training organisations in the U.K) to run a series of pilates classes for her trainee yoga teachers.
He is passionate about helping clients/patients achieve profound results as quickly as possible.
